The Biology Behind Every Treatment
Skin loses roughly one percent of its collagen every year after the mid-twenties. The supporting layer thins, the facial muscles underneath lose tone, and sun exposure and hormones compound the effect. Every skin treatment we offer pulls one of three levers: heating the dermis so fibroblasts produce fresh collagen, clearing damaged surface cells so healthier skin replaces them, or stimulating the facial muscles that hold the midface up. The National Library of Medicine keeps plain-language background on the skin conditions these treatments address, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration explains how microneedling devices are regulated.
